Terms & Conditions

Confidentiality and Privacy

1. Confidentiality Commitment:

All BCBAs providing supervision through our website are required to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPPA).
Interns and clients must be assured that their personal and health information will be kept confidential and only used for purposes directly related to their supervision and professional development.

If you decide to conduct a direct observation in real time, it is crucial to use a HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure the privacy and security of client information. Prior to any observations, it is mandatory for the client or their guardian to sign a consent form for supervision and the release of information. Your BCBA will collaborate with you to determine which specific skills should be demonstrated during the observation session.

2. Data Security:

Our website employs advanced security measures to protect all stored information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Personal information, including session notes, contact details, and any other sensitive data, will be encrypted and securely stored.

3. Information Sharing:

Information about interns and clients will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except when required by law.
Supervisors must ensure that all records and information shared during supervision sessions are maintained confidentially and used solely for educational and professional purposes.

Fees and Transactions

1. Administration Fee:

Our website charges a 15% administration fee on each transaction. This fee supports the maintenance and development of the platform, ensuring a high-quality experience for all users.
The fee is automatically deducted from each payment made through the website, and the remaining amount is disbursed to the BCBA.

2. Transparency in Billing:

Supervisors are required to clearly communicate their rates and any additional costs to interns before the initiation of services.
All transactions and fees must be transparently itemized in invoices provided to interns.

Ethical Guidelines for Sessions

1. Professional Conduct:

BCBAs must adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and any applicable local regulations.
Supervisors are expected to maintain professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions with interns and clients.

2. Informed Consent:

Supervisors must obtain informed consent from interns and clients before commencing any supervision or observation sessions.
Interns should be fully aware of the nature, purpose, and any potential risks associated with the supervision.

3. Boundaries and Dual Relationships:

Supervisors must establish and maintain clear professional boundaries with interns and clients.
Dual relationships, where multiple roles or relationships may impair objectivity and professional judgment, should be avoided.

4. Confidential Sessions:

All sessions conducted through the website should be private and secure. Supervisors must ensure that sessions are held in an environment where confidentiality can be maintained.
Recording of sessions is prohibited unless explicit consent is obtained from all parties involved.

5. Emergency Protocols:

Supervisors should have clear protocols in place for handling emergencies or crises that may arise during supervision sessions.
Interns should be provided with appropriate resources and referrals for additional support if needed.

6. Feedback and Reporting:

Interns should be encouraged to provide feedback on their supervision experience. This feedback will help improve the quality and effectiveness of the services offered through the website.
Any unethical behavior or concerns should be reported immediately to the website's administration for investigation and appropriate action.

By adhering to these rules and terms, BCBAs, interns, and clients can ensure a secure, professional, and respectful environment for all supervision and observation activities conducted through our website.
